After showing and breeding English Cocker Spaniels for six years, our first Cavalier found and owned us in 1980. Ch Bunyarra Nicholas, a Tricolour was from Ch Grosvenor Billbergia and Ch Grosvenor La Grotte. After showing him to his title in 1981, we bought a blenheim bitch called Ch Asprey Evita, and thus began the Kabob Cavaliers.
We have based our lines on the famous Homerbrents, from which we have continually imported stock, confidently, throughout the years. With a later infusion of Alansmere, and then Salador, we feel we have continued to breed stock that confirm to the standard with emphasis on health
Our serious introduction to wholecolour Cavaliers was using imported Frozen Semen from Eng Ch Reinvelt Ringold Von Salador(uk) with bitches with Harana, and Salador lines.
We feel we have a type of Cavalier, which is an acceptable representative of our lovely breed. To date, Kabob Kennels have imported and owned, seven Cavaliers from the UK, all we've made Aust Champions. We have imported five from New Zealand, and made two of them Aust Champions. We have bred twenty five Australian Champions, two Aust/USA Champions, four Canadian Champions and one Malaysian Champion.
